Context: This article demonstrates how to change your password via the Profile settings section of Employer Online.
Note: We’ve updated our password and MFA criteria to help strengthen your account security. Please see our Password and MFA Requirements article for more information. Alternatively, please follow the criteria and messages within Employee Online when creating or updating a password.
- Log in to Employer Online.
- Click your profile name in the top-right of the header.
- Click the Profile Settings button.
- On the left-hand side of the Profile Settings screen, click the Security and Privacy Tab button.
- On the Security and Privacy screen, in the Password section, click the Change button and you’ll be taken to the Change password screen.
- Complete the following fields:
- Current password.
- New password.
- Confirm password.

Click the Done button.
Help: The password criteria is subject to change in an effort to strengthen your account security and will be reflected in Employer Online when creating or updating a password. Please follow the guidance within Employer Online, or refer to our Password and MFA Requirements article for more information.
- A modal will appear asking you to authenticate with your chosen MFA method. Once you enter the code, click the Continue button.

What you’ll see:
- You are returned to the Security and privacy screen.
- A success message appears in the top-right.
- Your password has been updated.
